Conservatory Outlet Show Support For Brand New Trade Show

Tuesday, March 6th, 2012

Conservatory Outlet was one of the first companies to sign up as an exhibitor at the Fabricator Installer Trade (FIT) Show; the all new industry exhibition which was recently unveiled and which will take place during 16th-18th April 2013.

The Wakefield-based double glazing fabricator is keen to attract new installers from various regions of the UK to its network of customers and sees FIT Show as the perfect way to demonstrate its offering to potential Conservatory Outlet dealers.

In addition to its uPVC double glazing product range, which includes Energy Saving Trust Recommended windows, Secured by Design windows and doors, and luxury conservatories and orangeries, Conservatory Outlet will also promote the benefits of being part of its network of dealers. Members not only receive free sales leads, search optimised lead generating websites and bespoke marketing literature, but also the experience, advice and trade secrets of many other successful installers thanks to regular benchmarking exercises and network events.

Conservatory Outlet’s support of this new exhibition is unsurprising – managing director Matthew Glover is also the principle organiser of FIT Show and MD of FIT Events Ltd. – but as sales director Greg Kane explains, FIT Show will be an unmissable date in the 2013 calendar.

‘I’ve seen at first hand Matthew’s passion for delivering an exhibition that the industry can be proud of and that will get businesses talking, thinking and ultimately buying from one another. The marketing plan to attract trade visitors is genuinely exceptional and I don’t want Conservatory Outlet to miss out by not being there.’

Conservatory Outlet has recently welcomed new installers to its network from Aberdeen, Middlesex Gloucestershire and Hampshire, whereas key regions such as the North East, the Central Midlands and East Anglia do not currently have a local dealer.

‘FIT Show could play a crucial part in our efforts to achieve full UK coverage and ensure that every person in the country has a Conservatory Outlet Dealer in easy reach’ added Greg.

Conservatory Outlet Unveil Involvement In Upcoming FIT Show

Sunday, March 4th, 2012

Matthew Glover, Managing Director of Conservatory Outlet has announced plans to stage a brand new national window, door and conservatory trade show aimed at fabricators and installers involved in the glass and double glazing industry.

Due to be held between 16-18th April 2013, the Telford International Centre will be transformed into the home of double glazing, doors and conservatories for the FIT (Fabricator and Installer Trade) Show, the first event of its kind for five years.

In accordance with its slogan of ‘everyone’s going’, the FIT Show has already attracted the attention of 30 companies including EdgeTech, Lister Trade Frames and Synseal, with half a million pounds-worth of exhibition space booked before the official launch.

Extensive research was carried out prior to the introduction of the event to ensure that the needs of both exhibitors and visitors were catered for. Located in the very heart of England, entrance to the FIT Show will be free and a range of affordable exhibition stand packages are available.

The inaugural FIT Show will also encompass a comprehensive seminar programme, innovative features, planned evening entertainment and networking opportunities as the organisers look to set up an event relevant to the industry in the 21st century.

Armed with a £500k marketing budget, the FIT Show will be heavily promoted in trade-related publications and across social media platforms over the next 14 months in the lead-up to the event so that the exhibition gets optimum exposure and reaches as many key industry figures as possible.

Mr Glover has created and organised the event together with colleague and business partner Paul Godwin who runs a business-to-business public relations agency based in Hertfordshire. They each share a long-held passion for the conservatory industry.

Conservatory Outlet Increase Production Of Triple Glazing

Thursday, March 1st, 2012

Conservatory Outlet the fabricator and installer of home improvements have announced that triple glazing now accounts for 15% of the 10,000 frames they produce each month due to popular demand from its network of dealers and householders.

The addition of triple glazing to their already vast product range in July of last year has been fantastically received by dealers and homeowners up and down the land. It has also led to the company launching a site solely dedicated to this newest form of home improvement christened ‘Triple Glazing Superheroes’.

Conservatory Outlet is made up of 19 regional dealers throughout the UK all of which already supply, fit and install conservatories, orangeries, double glazing, porches and roofline, amongst many other products.

Greg Kane, Sales Director of Conservatory Outlet says:

“This positive feedback has come from all corners of the UK and judging by the requests for product samples and literature alone, our dealers really do believe in the potential of triple glazing. I fully expect that this percentage will increase over time.”

Although the sale of triple glazing within the network is in its infancy, Mr Kane is confident that it will become the window of choice over the coming years:

“Despite our early efforts in the triple glazing market, double glazed energy rated windows and frames for conservatories obviously still make up the bulk of our work as a fabricator, and this is likely to be the case for some time.

But as Building Regulations set higher standards, more UK installers begin to offer a triple glazed option, and more and more homeowners have a neighbour or friend who has had triple glazing installed, demand for these products will increase and that is when our work now will really be rewarded.”

Orangeries Offer You A Wealth Of Luxury

Tuesday, February 28th, 2012

At this time of the year use of the garden becomes impossible. The traditional cold UK weather sees to that and it can be frustrating. There is no finer feeling than being able to get out into the outdoors so why not try and replicate that feeling by installing a home extension at your property. Orangery or conservatory, your home will forever benefit from any form of add-on.

The traditional orangery was originally used as a place for growing citrus fruits in winter, but they are now more commonly used as a place to relax in the home.

Because of the way it is designed and constructed you will find that an orangery benefits from an enormous amount of natural light and heat. This means during the warmer months of the year you can be sure that your orangery will offer a warm and inviting atmosphere without you having to fork out a fortune in energy bills to heat it.

If you thought that a conservatory added a huge amount of extra space to a home just wait till you see the spaciousness that an orangery possesses. Because of its huge size it presents you with a number of opportunities as far as utilising the space is concerned.

You can use it for relaxation, work or entertaining purposes, or even all three if you wish. It really is as multi-functional as most of the conservatories you will find within the home improvement sector.

The moment installation of a conservatory or orangery is completed at your home the overall value of your property is almost certain to rise. If you ever decide to put it on the market you may also well find that buyers take more of an interest in it than they would have done without an extension of this kind being present.

Home Living Is Best Enjoyed In A Conservatory

Saturday, February 25th, 2012

You can enjoy home living that little bit more simply by adding a conservatory to the back of your property. We all love spending free time inside the confines of our home but sometimes the living room or dining room do not afford us the opportunity to fully stretch out and relax.

If you find this to be the case then you should look towards extending the amount of space you have and a conservatory is the perfect way of increasing room. With a variety of conservatories on the market available, finding one guaranteed to suit your home couldn’t be simpler.

Your choice of conservatory will also no doubt depend on the budget you have available and the size of your home. The Lean-to conservatory is ideal for those who live in a bungalow or a home with a low-pitched roof, whilst an Edwardian or Victorian design is simply perfect for those living in a traditional form of property.

One of the added advantages of having a conservatory is that it will enable you to bring home and back garden closer together. As you can probably imagine, the view of your garden will be enhanced tenfold when you spend your time inside a conservatory throughout the day. At night time when lit up it will bring both your home and garden alive.

You can make the experience even more special by adding informing your chosen installer that you would like to add a set of French doors to your new extension. This will give you the perfect opening into the outdoors and enable you to get amongst nature with ease. It will also make it stand-out that little bit more.

It must also be noted that as well as expanding your home, a conservatory could help expand the size of your wallet.

Impose Spaciousness In Your Home With French Or Patio Doors

Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012

Home extensions whether they be a brand new conservatory, loft or garage conversion, are out of the reach of many people financially which can make things difficult if space in your property is hard to find. However there is nothing to stop you buying more affordable home improvement solutions to help create the illusion of space.

Patio doors and French doors can totally transform your home and because of the transparency of the glass used it will make your garden more visible and as a result your property will feel that bit larger. They will help increase the amount of natural light that hits your living space so that it feels brighter and that bit more inviting.

Most patio and French doors frames are created from using UPVC. The reason being is that UPVC is weather-resistant and isn’t prone to any of the weaknesses that you most commonly find in timber, namely rotting, warping and many other forms of unwanted wear and tear.

Those lucky enough to already own conservatories can also utilise the beautiful aesthetics, styling, functionality and practicality present in a French or patio door. They can be fitted inside all types of conservatories so that you can pull or slide them open and make your way into the back garden with sophisticated ease.

Both types of door are designed with security in mind as they contain a durable locking system which when securely fastened will help keep your home out of the grasp of intruders. The views to be gained are also something to behold as they give you a wonderful vantage point of the outdoors.

With several different finishes available finding a colour that fits in with the rest of your home will be a breeze. They are the perfect home improvement for those on a tight budget!

Monday, February 13th, 2012

Jim Oliver of Lincolnshire-based James Oliver Conservatories collected his trophy and cash prize for delivering the greatest number of combined sales of conservatories, double glazing, doors and other products within the entire network. Nick Trigg of Mid Wales Windows & Conservatories took the honours in the category solely dedicated to replacement windows and double glazing.

The concept of Top Dog was created as Conservatory Outlet wanted to give their teams of sales men and women more of a major motivation to increase the number of sales they bring in.

As well as this year-long competition, Conservatory Outlet also hands out monthly awards to sales people for attracting the ‘Largest Window Order’ and ‘Largest Conservatory Order’.

A total of 8 out of Conservatory Outlet’s 19 dealers took part in the annual competition with the final top ten comprising representatives from 5 different companies – a testament to the strength of the network. The total sales of everyone who took park in the competition this year approached a whopping £30m and most impressively 13 salesmen individually managed to pass the £1m mark.

Conservatory Outlet is hopeful that the 2012 competition will attract a few new entrants to increase competition and keep everyone on their toes.

Conservatory Outlet Staff Quit Smoking The EasyWay

Friday, February 10th, 2012

Bosses at double glazing company Conservatory Outlet who organised a dedicated ‘Stop Smoking Day’ for their employees have reported that several members of staff have already managed to kick their regular nicotine fix.

Held last Thursday at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium, the home of Rugby League giants Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, the all-day event was hosted by Easyway who introduce smokers to tried and tested methods of kicking their smoking habit.

Around 25 members of staff attended, each determined to make 2012 a smoke-free year in their lives. With just the aid of a whiteboard, employees of the double glazing firm took on board everything passed onto them by their Easyway representative with great results.

Following the event, several members of the conservatories team managed to go out last weekend drinking with friends and family without needing a cigarette. ‘Fag’ breaks taken by staff during work hours has also ceased thanks to the initiative.

Conservatory Outlet is delighted with how well the event has been received by staff as they have received an enormous amount of positive feedback from personnel. It has also encouraged them to fund further staff-related initiatives in the future as they believe events such as this help make workers feel more valued and appreciated.
