Home Living Is Best Enjoyed In A Conservatory

Saturday, February 25th, 2012

You can enjoy home living that little bit more simply by adding a conservatory to the back of your property. We all love spending free time inside the confines of our home but sometimes the living room or dining room do not afford us the opportunity to fully stretch out and relax.

If you find this to be the case then you should look towards extending the amount of space you have and a conservatory is the perfect way of increasing room. With a variety of conservatories on the market available, finding one guaranteed to suit your home couldn’t be simpler.

Your choice of conservatory will also no doubt depend on the budget you have available and the size of your home. The Lean-to conservatory is ideal for those who live in a bungalow or a home with a low-pitched roof, whilst an Edwardian or Victorian design is simply perfect for those living in a traditional form of property.

One of the added advantages of having a conservatory is that it will enable you to bring home and back garden closer together. As you can probably imagine, the view of your garden will be enhanced tenfold when you spend your time inside a conservatory throughout the day. At night time when lit up it will bring both your home and garden alive.

You can make the experience even more special by adding informing your chosen installer that you would like to add a set of French doors to your new extension. This will give you the perfect opening into the outdoors and enable you to get amongst nature with ease. It will also make it stand-out that little bit more.

It must also be noted that as well as expanding your home, a conservatory could help expand the size of your wallet.

Conservatory Outlet Salesman Christened ‘Top Dogs’ For 2012

Monday, February 13th, 2012

Salesman at two of Conservatory Outlet’s regional dealerships are celebrating after beating off competition from other salesman within the network to land the individual titles of 2011 Conservatory Outlet Top Dog.

Jim Oliver of Lincolnshire-based James Oliver Conservatories collected his trophy and cash prize for delivering the greatest number of combined sales of conservatories, double glazing, doors and other products within the entire network. Nick Trigg of Mid Wales Windows & Conservatories took the honours in the category solely dedicated to replacement windows and double glazing.

The concept of Top Dog was created as Conservatory Outlet wanted to give their teams of sales men and women more of a major motivation to increase the number of sales they bring in.

As well as this year-long competition, Conservatory Outlet also hands out monthly awards to sales people for attracting the ‘Largest Window Order’ and ‘Largest Conservatory Order’.

A total of 8 out of Conservatory Outlet’s 19 dealers took part in the annual competition with the final top ten comprising representatives from 5 different companies – a testament to the strength of the network. The total sales of everyone who took park in the competition this year approached a whopping £30m and most impressively 13 salesmen individually managed to pass the £1m mark.

Conservatory Outlet is hopeful that the 2012 competition will attract a few new entrants to increase competition and keep everyone on their toes.

Friday, February 10th, 2012

Conservatory Outlet is delighted with how well the event has been received by staff as they have received an enormous amount of positive feedback from personnel. It has also encouraged them to fund further staff-related initiatives in the future as they believe events such as this help make workers feel more valued and appreciated.

Patio Doors Can Form A Security Barrier Round Your Home

Friday, January 27th, 2012

However much you try and put it to the back of your mind, all homeowners need to consider the possibility that someone will try and break into their home. To ignore this would be irresponsible and could be putting you, your family and your possessions at risk. Therefore it makes sense to put a secure lock on your home and Conservatory Outlet has several options available.

A brand new set of windows and doors would be a good start as contemporary windows and doors from Conservatory Outlet come fitted with the very latest locking technology to keep your home out of the hands of thieves and burglars. For extra cautiousness you could also look to add a patio door as not only will it make access to your garden easier, but it will also complement your new additions.

Many wrongly believe that the only purpose a patio door serves is to help improve aesthetics, but it can do far more than this as we manufacture them using tough glazing and a durable hard-wearing UPVC frame. We also fit them with an extremely strong locking mechanism which when properly locked will vastly reduce the chances of someone gaining entry without permission.

Because our conservatories and patio doors offer energy efficiency it means that huge pockets of warm air as generated by your boiler will stay trapped inside your home for longer. This will also help cut the current of your energy bills as you will be able to utilise less energy than before.

They money you save can then be spent on other areas of the home and where better to go for all other forms of home improvement than Conservatory Outlet. A brand new conservatory would be perfect for this time of year, a location guaranteed to keep you warm.

Stay Indoors When You Have A Conservatory

Saturday, January 21st, 2012

Many homeowners throughout the UK are finding difficult to make ends meet due to the impact of the recession and the subsequent financial difficulties it brings. Because of this they have to sacrifice certain things such as nights out as we all know how expensive a heavy night out can be and instead have to stay in.

But this needn’t be a bad thing especially if you have a conservatory installed at your house as it is a room that offers so many different possibilities in the most luxurious of locations. Realistically conservatories can be turned into an extension of your living or dining room so that you can benefit from a further area in which to put your feet up, only with the added extra of natural sunlight throughout the day.

Unlike the old-style of conservatory which would predominantly be made up of wood and over-heat during summer, the contemporary conservatory is constructed using UPVC, a weather-resistant material that can keep excess heat at bay. This makes it an all-year round useable home extension.

You will show a definite preference to the conservatory on those occasions when you want to chill out and work off the stresses and strains of your everyday life. This is because it can be accessorised like any other room in the house but with further extravagance. You can install a centre fan with light so that the room illuminates at night and place appropriately sized conservatory furniture.

The added value it will bring also makes worth the money alone. Like an orangery, it can make your property more valuable than ever before which comes in extremely handy if you ever decide to sell up and move.

Speak to your local conservatory installer to make sure you find a conservatory design that best suits.

Since southern-based home improvement companies Hazlemere Window Group, Prestige Windows & Conservatories and Eden Windows, Doors & Conservatories joined the network they have each benefitted from an unparalleled amount of leads and sales.

Other network members have also been able to extend their showroom portfolio with Clearview Home Improvements, Conservatory, Window and Door Outlet and West Yorkshire Windows each opening a new showroom this year in Nantwich, Birstall and Doncaster respectively.
